ROPE - Research Opportunity and Performance Evidence/ Relative to Opportunity Performance Evaluation is used in job, promotion, and grant applications to evaluate an individual’s career achievements relative to opportunity. ROPE recognises that a range of personal circumstances can play a role in a person’s career trajectory and allows for consideration of such factors when assessing performance.
